About two years ago now I was hunting with my dad. It was opening day of youth season, and I was Sitting about 50 feet in the woods off a cornfield when my dad noticed a deer on the edge-a ten pointer well my back was to the deer, so I slowly turned and got in position. Just then the deer whirled and started towards the brush. When he did that, it surprised me, and I quickly shot. The deer took off without a hair missing.
A few weeks ago, now I was sitting in the same woods a little way off and I killed the 8 pointer above.
Now the difference between these two deer is one thing one is dead one is not.
Are you a dead or alive Christian.
But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us, 5Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;) Ephesians 2:4-5
Once you become a Christian you should no longer be dead in Christ. But alive with Him.
